Canadian Food Banks Initiative

Summit Studios is proud to partner with the Canadian Association of Food Banks and several regional food banks to combat hunger and poverty across the country. Since the release of The Canada Chronicles in 2004, proceeds from several fundraising initiatives have raised more than $6,000.00 for this cause.

Food Banks purchase groceries in bulk, which means that every dollar raised will buy three dollars worth of food. As a result, this campaign has donated the equivalent of $18,000.00 to help feed the hungry.

Most of these funds were raised when several car and RV dealerships purchased the book in bulk to be used as client gifts. When they did, five dollars of every book purchased was donated to the food bank nearest that dealership. We would like to thank the following businesses for participating:

Metrotown Mazda, Burnaby
Kelowna Toyota, Kelowna
Leisureland RV, Penticton
Red Deer Toyota, Red Deer
Southside RV, Red Deer
Koch Ford Lincoln, Edmonton
Guarantee RV, Edmonton
